Alex Wides

Alex Wides, an Italian photographer born in Rome in 1986, transitioned from architecture to photography in 2008.

After studying portraiture with Steve McCurry’s assistant and landscape techniques with Daniel Kordan and Max Rive, Alex developed a unique photographic style focused on ultrawide panoramic landscapes. His work, often captured in extreme conditions such as expeditions and climbs, showcases 180- to 360-degree panoramas, which have gained worldwide recognition.

Renowned as a leader in panoramic landscape photography, Alex has won prestigious awards and has founded a successful company offering photo tours and workshops. He also created Italy’s largest landscape photography community, inspiring thousands annually.
