Forest Chaput de Saintonge

Forest Chaput de Saintonge is a professional photography educator and the former director of Rocky Mountain School of Photography. He loves teaching photography and helping students move their career or hobby forward.

When he’s not filming videos or teaching photography, he loves hanging out with his kids, building things, weightlifting and astrophotography. In fact, he’s a huge astronomy nerd, holds a degree in astrophysics and is an alumnus of the MINERVA Exoplanet Observatory Team. (Can you tell he loves space?)

Forest is also the co-founder of Everlight Education, which specializes in helping photographers and creatives refine their workflows and master tools such as Lightroom and Photoshop. Whether the topic is organizing digital files, building editing skills or crafting an efficient creative process, Forest is passionate about making the technical side of photography accessible and enjoyable for every student.
