Sarah Mathews

Sarah Mathews is an astrophotographer, educator and YouTuber who is passionate about helping others discover the wonders of the night sky. She is a former space industry professional, which led to her bringing her love for engineering, astrophysics, art and philosophy to making space exploration accessible to all through the lens of astrophotography.

Specializing in photographing deep space objects such as nebulae, galaxies and the Moon, Sarah draws inspiration from the “pale blue dot” perspective. She sees astrophotography not just as a way to capture beautiful images, but as an opportunity to forge a deeper connection with the cosmos and to reflect on our shared humanity.
