Moonlight Menagerie
When people think about moon photography, they often visualize the full moon hanging in the sky above the landscape, or perhaps a huge full moon behind a mountain peak or church steeple. But when Kevin Adams thinks about moon photography, he’s thinking about photographing the moon’s light illuminating the landscape and atmosphere.
Much as a day photographer plans shots around the best times to utilize sunlight, Kevin plans photos based on the moon’s phase and position in the sky. In this presentation he’ll discuss a wide variety of subjects based around—and that can be enhanced by—moonlight, including moonbows, lunar halos, star trails, waterfalls, lighthouses, historic structures, snow scenes, clouds and even fireflies!
Join Kevin and see why his friends call him a luna-tic!
